Passover

As in years past, celebrating Passover this year was great, but with Gabriela, it was even better.  Gabriela was introduced to many new foods and customs, some she liked more than others (we think her favorite meals were over Aunt Sharon and Uncle Larry’s.  And horseradish, we chose not to try this year. )  Gabriela sure did miss her wheat muffins though.  While Gabriela enjoyed the songs and readings, we look forward to the years ahead when she gets to fully participate by asking the four questions.  Also, while it has been suggested that she say the four questions in Mandarin, Hebrew, and English, we are pretty sure Gabriela was not introduced to Passover while she resided in Nanning, so Mandarin is probably out….  especially considering Gabriela’s foster mother gave us the stuffed Santa.
