A year ago today we got such wonderful news and a picture of a most beautiful soon to be daughter. Words escape me as to what that day was like, having received news on November 1, 2006 that yes, tomorrow, November 2, 2006 we would receive an email describing our soon to be child (we knew nothing about what was in that special delivery from China – boy, girl, age, nothing).
Not much got done that day waiting for the email…dreams of bringing home a happy little girl from China filled the rest of the day (after we opened the email from our adoption agency with news that the stork brought a little girl.) We assume, as we must, that not much got done for the other over 60 other families that received news of their special delivery as well.

Uh, yeah – you’re right. Not much got done that day here either. Mostly Quinn watched a ton of TV while I stalked the e-mail waiting the stork! Ahhh, the memories! 🙂
