Happy Anniversary…so far…

A year ago (okay, with the time difference, it is now more then a year ago, but who is counting?) we met our little bundle of joy at the Lottery Hotel in Nanning and began the Period of Harmony with the other families in our group. Thinking back brings nothing but smiles and fond memories of that magical time. It really has been a year. And a wonderful year at that!

We had hoped to celebrate the day in a special fashion. And we did. We got to stay with Mommy in the morning because Gabriela was ill and Daddy got to come home early to relieve mommy so she could go to work too. By 4:00 pm, after speaking with the doctor’s office, we were getting ready a trip to the doctor and then after that to the hospital for further tests. Gabriela liked it no more then any other 2 1/2 year old. Important tests negative, an issue here or there, still feeling rather off, and tomorrow, the official anniversary of becoming a family of three, we get to go see the doctor again.
